“I've been their customer for a little over a year now. Every now and then they will send out emails stating that they will give you 5% off if you prepay. Today they sent me a message stating, "..., a thank you gift awaits! Save 5% on Turf Masters services when you prepay." That felt very disingenuous since they always offer the 5%, but they wanted me to think it was a 'thank you' gift. I texted back stating that that wasn't a thank you gift, and that a thank you gift would be something like 10% off. The representative responded back that that was all they have. I wasn't satisfied with their last couple of services, so I told them they could do the 10% off my next service or they would lose a customer. They opted to lose a customer over 10%.”

“I would not recommend this company for your lawn care needs. On the first visit, they applied a high rate of Urea on a 90 degree day and burned the lawn pretty bad. Of course it came back but looked bad for some time. They stained my fence, driveway, and the house several times with the chelated iron but did come out to pressure wash the areas. However, recently they preformed a growth regulator treatment and burned the lawn all around the edges. I reached out to the company and was told it will recover. I do this for a living so I know it will recover but for several weeks, it looked bad. I tried explaining this to the field manager and he was not helpful with the situation and I ended up canceling my service since they weren't willing to make it right.”

DONT TRUST they will just charge your CC and do whatever service to make the most money without your approval

Have been using them for a couple years now. As of lately they don’t leave a breakdown of cost of service & just charge card. This past visit they were ONLY supposed to do a tick service and did and charged us for the entire front of our property almost $600 bucks not approved (we discussed TICK service ONLY) now they are ignoring our calls and will not refund us for the service we did NOT ask for as well as again charging our CC without service price breakdown. I specifically spoke to them week prior about where they would be spraying they take advantage of customers and their money and just automatically decide what THEY want to do and charge my CC without authorization and bill. VERY expensive service and unprofessional employees

My yard didn’t look good til I changed companies!

I used Trugreen for about 4 years – aerating/seeding in fall and approx 6 fertilizer/ weed control services per year- all costing about $900 per year. My yard NEVER looked good. Never. Looked as if nothing was being done to help it. Then I read where many Trugreen svc reps simply post the sign in your yard to make it look as if they had treated your yard that day when they had actually done nothing. But admittedly I never saw any reps – and I’m home ALL DAY EVERYDAY because I’m retired. Well, I finally changed companies this past fall 2022 because I decided that the Trugreen people weren’t actually doing my yard. Within 3 months of changing to “All Turf” my grass fescue lawn finally looks lush & green like it’s supposed to!!!!!! And to think I had to tolerate the crappy looking yard I had for the past 4 years!!! It’s now a good 6 months since changing companies and my yard looks excellent- thick and green! My advice: Change companies!!! All Turf lawn care does Cartersville, Bartow county, etc……. I wish I’d fired Trugreen years ago- they are a ripoff.
